Went to order some locking nuts there and couldn't remember if the wheel nuts are tapered or rounded at the ends.
Also, is there a specific length I need or are they all fairly similar. They will be McGard locking nuts.
Can someone quickly clarify?
Thanks
Graeme

Re: Quick wheel nut question...
Assuming you're talking about standard rev 3 wheels, the nuts look like this:

(although I think the standard nuts may be slightly longer than this).

Cheers mate, although they look like special nuts to me. Can't remember mine looking like that.
Re: Quick wheel nut question...
When I first got my tubby, it had tapered nuts on. When I had my tyres changed, it was pointed out that the tapered nuts were damaging the wheels, and that it should have these type of nuts with the captive washer and the flat face. I raised this at the time and was told that indeed the standard wheels should have this type of nut. The shape of the nut helps centre the wheel on the hub too.

Standard Toyota wheels use the flat washer type wheel nuts.

correct but the end of the wheel nut is slightly tapered where it protudes through the wheel face onto the hub behind
