Rev3 GT-Tbar Yellow Turbo

Post by tonigmr2 »

Well after much agonising I am thinking of selling my beloved rev3 yellow GT t-bar. I was going to sell my drift car, but then I got to thinking how much I liked it and it became a bit of a toss up between the two...one has to go as I've run out of space from too many cars. :P And I'm not selling the TRD. Since that means two MR2s...made sense to sell one and keep a different car in the drift car.

Soooo
Rev 3 GT t-bar in yellow - these are very rare. It took me two years to find it in this spec/mileage/condition. NVI supplied.
Car has only 31K miles indicated, and from it's condition I've no reason to suspect otherwise.
T-bars do not leak!
Half leather with folding mirrors and steering fogs - top spec stuff. No wear and tear inside whatsoever. Standard steering wheel.
TRD short shift, man in dandism mats. :)
White speed hut dials with 'MR2 Tubby' on. (Photo taken before they went in)
NVI stereo with fold out screen in the dash.
16" Volk TE37s, lovely nick (I even bought centre caps for them). They also are lightweight nuts and locking nuts, lovely stuff.
Departure II exhaust.
Bomex/spl kit with nose cone, side skirts and rear spats, clear indicators.
Tein HA coilovers.
ARC intercooler, ARC airbox to go on with car.
I had a cambelt change and comprehensive service/all fluids change on the car in March, it's only done about 1K miles since. All fluids includes coolant, brake fluid the lot, had new plugs, fuel filter etc etc.
I also had new Eagle Goodyear F1s all round at the same time.
Cat 1 Sigma alarm/immobiliser. Has also had new battery.
Original spare, jack etc.
I have also have all original de-reg and shipping documentation!
Got dynoed at 270bhp with the only mod being an ARC intercooler...lovely strong engine.

The car currently has a private plate on which is NOT going to be sold (TUB85Y) as I'm going to transfer it to my TRD car. :) Hence it'll be registereed on an 'M' reg plate.

Tax and MOT until next 30th Jan '07. I won't claim immaculate as it has a scrape on the front nosecone (fairly minor) and one on the driver side skirt. But it is in vgc, and the yellow is spot on. I've no hesitation in saying it drives like a new car, one of the nicest MK2s I've owned.

I am after offers IRO £7.5K. Please no timewasters telling me what they think it's worth or offering me silly money!!
Tedit note price at bottom of thread is £6.5K due to removal of ARC items

Please note aswel apart from this being one gorgeous car. The "Genuine" Phoenix power kit on this car is no longer available/produced, making it very rare indeed. Especially the nose cone which has slight differences to the mass produced bomex one.

Bargin @ that price aswel!

Lovely Car mate whoever gets it will be very lucky, can't be easy selling her, if i didn't have a rev3 GT Tubby i'd have that off you in a second!

Quick Question: why does my rev3 GT T-bar have traction control and yours does not? was it an option?
