My definition of "addictive" is something that makes me spend increasing amounts of money and time to get a return of great enjoyment. When I dont have access to the item of enjoyment I may become depressed, angry and irritable. So YES mr2's are addictive! This was proved for me last week when my tax ran out and I coudlnt get my daily fix. I even refused to drive my Mums Yaris, short of selling it for tax money I had to wait a few days before I could drive again! Its all better now though

I have only got to look at my Credit Card statement to realise i have 'MR2 syndrome'. Perhaps we should start a sub-forum entitled 'Mr2 Anonymous' where people can start off by saying " My name is.......and i am an MR2 addict". Then we all applaud.

You can escape the addiction, but only if you buy something you like more that you can transfer your addiction to. I loved my mk2 turbo, but i'm now on my second S2000 :)

Ive wanted one since i saw my first mk1 back in 1987 Spanking red it was(not offical colour!). It pretty much my all time favorite car. When i got hit from behind last october i had to hold back the tears, devastated. Luckily shes all fixed and the addiction goes on.......and on...

Yes they are. I bought a Supra twin turbo aerotop a year or so ago, with mods to circa. 400bhp. It was to replace the Supra, but when it came to sell the MR2 - I just couldn't. The Supra got sold a year later and I still have the '2.

Thing is, I've recently bought a monster Supra with 649ps at the wheels and I really should sell the MR2. Be interesting to see what happens

I really don't want to sell the MR2 :(

I purchased my first 2 6 and a bit years ago. Sold her after 3 years purchased an awsome supra, fitted a single turbo. It was not the same as the mr2.

The Supra has now gone and I have a ver3. :D
