Wrote her off today.....

Post by Hedgehog Dodger »

Well

The biscuit tin has died. Wrote the car off today, but could have been a lot worse, I might not have been here! Totally ripped the nearside front and side upto the door of the car off. Nearly ended up in a 12ft ditch, but thanks to the 2 posts (one concrete and one steel) that stopped me at 50MPH I didnt!

I will post some pics up of the damage.

Engine is sound (I think) so if anyone know who wants to buy the engine/transmission off me then let me know.

Modified GT30 (1 day old - about 50 miles)
HKS ManifoldHKS Wastegate
Zeni-Tani downpipe and Twin exit exhaust
REV3 Block 94 - Uknown internals
TRD Diff
Lightened Flywheel
OS Twin plate clutch
R32 GT-R Intercooler + piping.
HKS F-CON V-Spec Gold
More details in my profile

I might sell the engine/transmission/rear axle as one unit, and sell the turbo as a kit - Turbo, Manifold, IC, Exhaust etc etc

If anyone is interested let me know. Rogue/JJ/Chris

A Sad day for Zeni-Tani biscuit tin

  :(

Dan,

Really sorry to hear that buddy. Glad you made it OK though.

Do not know what to say apart from the old....it is only a car at the end of the day. Sounds like it was a fairly major moment...

Sorry to hear that Dan.

I know what it feels like to hit immovable objects, not nice!

Could it be 'Re-shell' time?

Crap Dan! Really sorry to hear that you smashed the car, at least you got out in once piece!

Personally I wouldnt give in just yet! Get a worthy shell and swap the parts over. JJ always has his lugs to the ground when it comes to cheap Mr2's that need work so might be worth having a chat with him?! Wasnt there one on ebay going recently for pennies?

Swap the bits over and you have Biscuit Tin 2!

Cheers
