Yeah, but sadly your FE (If that figure is true) is 120bhp or so, and except when Goldy is driving it, a lump of beautiful, but rather slow metal :)

Ah, the auto goes that much further, limiter cuts in at 6300, it'll touch 75 on the dial in 2nd and 115 in 3rd, however it won't outsprint a Brabus! But.... on twisty c roads it annoys my neighbours in their Boxsters.

Good grief!! 17k for that piece of plastic cr@p???

You should have kept your 2, spent 10k on it and made it into something that could have dealt with just about ANYTHING on the road, not just the chav brigade and their Fiesta's, Type R's and the such like. Would have saved you 7k too, which you could have spent on something a little less frightening to drive in the week. :eye:

...what a plonker

Hah, Finance deal £199 a month 0% interest.

Where am I going to get 17k cash up front ;-) Also, MR2s aren't the most reliable cars. I'll get a new WRX when I sell the Brabus. But until Toyota make a new sports car... :/

£199 a month...? For that...? Your mad.

I don't know you mate, you could have access to unlimited wealth

Saying that though, it looks suspiciously like you would have chose that thing even if you did have a pot of gold.

Also, MR2s aren't the most reliable cars.

MR2's not the most reliable cars? Huh? I've never had a problem with mine yet. I think you'll find that the MR2 is one of the most reliable sports cars there is. Toyota reliability see... None of your German rubbish here.

I'll get a new WRX when I sell the Brabus.

So you'll sell a decent car like your MR2, buy an ugly lump of plastic like the Brabus, then when you've paid through the nose for it, you'll sell it and buy a WRX?

You're definately mad. :?

But until Toyota make a new sports car... :/

MR-S. :P

they stopped making the MR-S.

FWIW the Brabus is not a 17K car. It's .... it's.... just not, ok!!

Dare I say... NSX? Esprit S4S?

911 Carrera 964 shape?

Westfield 4litre Seight?

bu$$er me, it must be some kind of embolism.

NSX yes, but no way I can get insurance on it :/

Lotus Exige yes, but see comment above

Repeat for all other decent performance cars :/

Even the MRS they wanted the same insurance wise as the Brabus :/

I'd be really surprised if it manages to get to 100k miles in that condition.. there are plenty of NAs over that mileage without any problems at all.

Used to have a Coupe (before they were FourTwos) mk5(?), was a great little car with Eibach suspension, SmartsRUs remap and a few other bits and pieces, gearbox was the weak point, but in gear was great :) Sold it because it just wasn't as good as the slug for trackwork (lol), but with the softtop all the way down, roof-bars in the boot, in the sunshine on the way to the beach, nothing better.

You bought the wrong one :)

had a smart forfour as a hire car a couple of weeks ago (with the SMT) - ragged the absolute xxxx out of it and got to say its probably the worst car i've ever driven.. suspension is all over the shop - the riding position is pants and it feels cheap and nasty the seats are also the unfcomfiest i've ever sat in - they feel almost 'wooden'.. i love where they put the electric window switches as well #-o ... one of the worst cars you can buy for your money without doubt..
