Definitely do not part with it, especially if you have one of the three new colours that only came with Revision 5.
I seem to remember seeing on a website that only 342 MR2s were made in 1999 of all types. I have struggled to try and find out if there is a breakdown of NA to Turbo and colour schems but to no avail!
Of course, I am interested in 1999 because my Rev 5 Tubby is that year and one of the new colours and getting rid of it hasn't even crossed my mind....even though I have been asked lots!
Should I EVER sell my rev5 turbo?

Re: Should I EVER sell my rev5 turbo?
Here in NZ, there's only 11 rev 5 SW20s in the country.
2 are factory turbo,
one had a redtop but is now turbo (I have the old engine )
and the rest are NA.
More than 2 of the NA's are auto, and I've driven a bone stock black gen 5 SW20 that had 20,000kms on the clock.
It looked brand new.
