Is anyone up for meeting up on the Friday night?

Have a friend in Bristol who I may try and stay with, but for those coming a long way and staying locally on the Friday it might be good to meet up for food / drink beforehand so we can all get to know each other before the day?

I ought to try and come along - even if I can't make the Saturday I'd be up for a mini-Bristol meet on the Friday night as I'm local.

Getting into the circuit is one thing - what is everyone doing about staying over ? Done the camping thing in the past, I deserve at least B&B now. Anyone organising anything or know places in the area ? I'd like to go to the event but not if it means driving there and back in one day........

According to my MR2 mk1 Club magazine, a stand is booked, and tickets can be booked at £8 through Steve Hallet - though I haven't been able to get in touch with him - did this fall through, or is it a completely seperate club from IMOC and MR2OC?

Yeah the MK1 have a stand and tickets pre booked. you then buy your ticket from us (well from steve)
He is 'spudgun' on here, and his contact details are in the magazine
or see thread:

http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=28000

There are quite a few of us going already and also on track too. There may be one or two spare track passes to buy too if you are quick (£25)

Let me know (pm) if you still having trouble gettign in touch

You can add Rich U, Bath (blue tubby) and Ian M, Bath (yellow tubby) to the list.

Where are we meeting before hand?

Morning All,
I have have just had a count up on how many Mk1 club members are hoping to attend and as it stands we have a few cheap entry passes left and maybe a couple of lots of track time. The entry passes are £8 each and the track time runs at £25 for a 15 minute session.
I did recieve a letter a week ago or so saying all track time had sold out on the day, so if this is true, it maybe the only way of getting hold of some. Also the entry passes are £6 cheaper than the "on-the-day" price.
I do want to give the mk1 club a few days longer, until the end of the month, but then it will be open season, with a bit of luck.

All the best
