Well lets consider the evidence....

1. Refence to "picnic hampers" on track days?
2. Knowing Part numbers for Toyota Badges?
3. Using a heated seat on a trackday!!?
4. Spending free time looking around scrap yards "just in case"

I will leave the jury to make a decision :)

All quite innocent.....

I just didn't want to have to pay outside catering prices ;) And anyway I got back on track before anyone else after the lunch break, nearly 45 minutes of a session with only me and one other chap on track.

2. Knowing Part numbers for Toyota Badges?

I needed a new one, I take pictures :)

3. Using a heated seat on a trackday!!?

Only for part of it! It was cold :?

4. Spending free time looking around scrap yards "just in case"

I have no justification for that one, I like visiting scrap yards and looking for treasure

I will leave the jury to make a decision :)

I'm innocent I tells ya, innocent!!

Not looking to take anything away from you but there is no such this as a "millennium edition" MR2. It's possible that it's been confused with the Anniversary edition (1995 in Japan, 1996 in the UK) because of it's colour.

Anniversay edition cars were available in Lucerne Silver or Blue only, the silver cars being the rarer as this was the only version of the car to carry that colour. From the description you've given of your MR2, you have a black roof over a lucerne silver body - a combination known as "Sonic Shadow".

To the best of my knowledge, all anniversay edition cars were normally aspirated and fitted with the following upgrades:

Momo Steering Wheel
Momo Gear Knob
Bilstein Suspension (borrowed from the turbo model)
Anthracite Wheels
Anthracite bonnet and boot badges
Stainless Steel Sill Plates

UK models also had wood (effect?) steering wheels and were numbered 1 - 125.

Hi rogue, thanks for the very accurate information, since the question was put to me i have done some research to get to the bottom of what model car i have.My importer has said that there has been some confusion in the addition of the car, he gave me a similar discription to yours, But not as comprehensive & accurate as yours.
My car is an exact discription as you have discribed, Respect to the accurate discription & thanks for the information. The car is sonic shadow, but its a rev 4 turbo & the year of manufacture is 1996 :?: :? . .

Just a quick update.....working on the profile side of IMOC at the moment on the test server.

I guess in about a week the whole profile side should be updated and it will contain areas for all mods etc plus your 1/4 mile times. So there will be no need for profile board ( that was just a stop gap ) each post you make will display your car make, model and year and it will link to the info.

Just thought I would keep you all up to date.

1987 Mk1 T-bar

Good ol' Magnecors
Jetex induction kit (DIY)
Mongoose exhaust
High compression rebuild (TRD head gasket, recon skimmed head)
Brass shift links & s/s clutch hose.

Whiteline springs
KYB shocks
High & Tight ARB links
Goodridge s/s brake hoses
Yaris T-sport wheels with Toyo T1-S'

Plumley spoiler (only one in the UK?)
Momo millenium steering wheel (bit of bling)

Currently have a 4AGE in the garage which I'm stripping down to rebuild as a 4AGTE. :D Also knocking up a couple of sets of urethane torque mounts (one solid and one filled round existing rubber)

4AGE + Turbo = a damn quick little pocket rocket!

if the xxxxxx MK1's would stop rusting i'd be damn tempted to grab another :)

Mine didn't have a lot when I bought it and I'm slowly knocking off the bits that need doing!

The AGTE may not be going in the MK1.
