Ditto, what happened? Still alternator issues? Or the dreaded MOT??

If the tyre wear I got last October at Anglesey is anything to go by, your T1s should be reasonably safe

So will it be open pit or sessions? Any decision yet or have I missed it?

Mainly [lack of] time to resolve several issues (still haven't done alternator, a sticking caliper and some other weekend-eating-jobs), working very late and weekends at the moment too.
Ah well, the social aspect is a big part of a club trackday anyway so I'll just go easy with the mk2 and enjoy the weekend ;)

My Yokohamas survived quite well on that day too - well, in comparison to the pounding the others ones got at Elvington anyway!
The mk2 is a bit heavier and torquier so I'd imagine I could easily be tempted to have some goony type fun, but I shall exercise restraint ;)

Visions of you flying off School corner, backwards into the sea :clown:

Know what you mean about the Mk2 ( got an NA now myself ) - they feel a lot different from the Mk1

I had a stripped down mk1 with aftermarked Zorst, koni adjustables, lowered and decent wheels which I used to track. Since its death I've added a zorst to my mk2, also got koni adjustables going on so will be good to see the differences between a mk1 and mk2 with similar mods.

mk2's got full interior tho..... It is my daily driver.

Hehe, I've just finished sorting the car for next weekend. Fluids changed, brakes bled, wheels balanced and swapped..... I'm ready to roll

Might come the party if I can talk my dad into it

hehe, just finished almost all the ticks in my boxes too, just drained and refilled the gearbox fluid (see thread in Mk1 club, that was fun!). Had an odd grinding which turned out to be 2 stuck sliding pins on a caliper, replaced the boots, pins lithium greased, now sorted! Braided lines, Brake fluid change, new pads, oil + filter change, new steering wheel, clutch fluid topped up, cant wait \:D/

And a lot of it was in the snow

*weather watch*

Ordered new brakes from brakes international, discs were a bit dished - will bung them on this week and drop the oil/filter at the same time too.

Hmm - recently both the BBC and uk.weather.com has had trouble getting the current weather here right, never mind 5 days from now

Must remember to pack umbrella, thermal underwear, and sun cream, just in case
