Dinner on my engine!

Post by Azz »

Hi people's

As the micrwaves look like the inside of a toilet at work and i live to far away to go home i need to know how long it will take to heat up my chicken curry,

Its already cooked and just needs warming up, its in a take-away size container and is 60% rice and the rest is sauce and chicken,

I have a 45 minute dinner

Any ideas

And no this is not a joke, i am starving and i need to know,

There should be instructions on the back of the curry....

1. Preheat engine to running temperature
2. remove all packaging and pierce plastic cover with jubilee clip
3. place on lightly greased turbo heatshield or attach to underside of engine lid
4. Drive like you've stolen it to ensure goods are adequately stirred
5. If frozen, defrost with hot coolant and follow guidelines from chilled.

Just remember, use separate engine untensils and surfaces for raw poultry and cooked foods, or wash them thoroughly between use.

Always check that the product is piping hot before serving and that the juices run clear when the dipstick is inserted into the centre. All cooking engine vary in performance, these are guildlines only.

Depend whether you heat it on the cylinder head or the exhaust manifold. I reckon about 5-10 minutes on a preheated exhaust manifold will get it toasty.

However I reckon it'll taste vile if it's not really well sealed, remember when they cooked those 'meals' on Top Gear by leaving the food wrapped in foil on the manifold. :puker:

Just to let you all know,

I crammed the curry under the spark plug leads and ontop of the cylinder head and drove to junctions up the motorway and then back to work,

Moved the curry to the turb heat sheild and left the engine on for 25 minutes, and out came a nice hot chicken curry and i had it with popadoms (pre-cooked),

Yum!
