[Mk2 Turbo] Wheel Spacers

Post by thebutler »

Hi all,

Anyone know I can get some wheel spacers for the back? Would like to increase the track by 10-15mm, and would have the effect of filling the arches much better.

Thanks in advance.

H&R hubcentric spacers......
cost bout £100 per axle tho...

OR you could go down the cheap route and get some universal ones from halfords....£10-15...altho these wont be as good...

not sure where to source the H&Rs tho....

I wana do the same mate, fill out the rear archs a tad more. Will I need to get the camber adjustment done again if I fit spacers??

Cheers,

ps, i heard one company on ebay sell them....bout 60-80 i think....
it does envolve taking the whole hub off tho peeps, as with the h&r, you need to replace the studs as well, this is why there better, as they supply longer studs, hense giving you enough length to put your wheel nut on...

with normal spacers, youve ineffectly got less thread to do up your nuts! which is obviously a little dangerous...depends how big you want it.

I got some made up for £40 but that was cost price as a favour. The drawings for these can be found here.

I have 8 x 6mm Universal spacers which I would sell but these are not hubcentric. PM me if you are interested.
