WARNING ALL IMOC'ERS

Post by Jimbob »

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Toyota-MR2-TRD-wi ... dZViewItem

Please be ware this e-bay user is dodgy. He sold me a sub which didn't work. Upon asking him to refund it or exchange it for the other one he had. He refused and claimed the other sub was sold, which is actually now for sale in this car!

He is untrustworthy as I have had a few dealings with him now.

This car is poorly finished to say the least. All his feedback is from friends who he uses to bid up his items, unfortunately they are not clever enough to stop bidding and end up winning his items. You will note he has sold his other TRD a few times but I know for a fact he hasn't.

I just don't want good people getting caught out expensively like I did.

I hope this post is ok MOD's as it is all based on my actuall experiences and fact.

17" new wolfrace street mantis alloy wheels & 225 /45 /17 tyres all round

All flushed and smoothed to fit, car fully delocked and dehandled.

Yep - the same size tyres all round is a great way to 'dehandle' your car.

maybe we should ask the seller a question about that...

Cheers for the heads up Jimbob - another prize xxxx unfortunately.

and im sure the "only 70000 miles" and "2 previous owners" is all correct too!

:-k :^o

(and if you look at his 'homepage' he appears to have 2 mr2's - which both have the same registration???!!!???)

He's a genuine guy, buy it!

So do we think Natalie is the young lass who modelled the car in Sept :D , must cost him a fortune in Ebay fees. I like the way they all nip round and pay cash to each other!

Definitely a bit odd, "natalie_stevens1983" also bid on various Cosworths.
Smells like a case of shill bidding if ever there was one.

Know that is strange! How long did it take for you to work that out lol =D>

Id steer away from both and buy a rev 4 standard !

You guys seem to have done the digging I failed on first time round. :(

He wanted to part-ex his old light blue TRD with my one.....no chance. The light blue one was made by Max Power in fact, and had over £20k wasted on it (not against spending £20k on a 2, as I'm heading that way myself  just they didn't spend wisely). It was at first an N/A which 6 years later had a motor swap courtesy of Henstead Motorsports, who incidently are top blokes and have done work on my 2.

He was selling bits on the light blue TRD and swapping bits onto this one. His aim was to make one really good one :-s and one cheaper one to sell on. However he has now ended up with two crap ones.

The dash looks good from 20 yards but is pooh pooh up close. He's a bodge and a con.

Just wanted to make sure no-one got ripped off like I did. Oh that girl is his girlfriend who i'm sure exhibits similarqualities to his dash. Ok i'll put my claws back now
