I’ve got a 2 2002 mr2s. I’ll start with my question then explain how I got here.
Can I swap my ecm from one mr2 into the other without issue?
I have a dead miss on 3 on one of the cars. Swapped my plug and coil. Still missing in 3. Ohm tested my injectors, passed the tests. Compression tested cylinder 3, and ohm tested from ecm to the injector, tested for voltage. All the tests passed. But when I used noid tester on the injector it won’t fire. So I’m pretty sure I need an ecm but I’m not sure if I can just swap my ecms without problem

Hi I have no experience with the MK3 can only suggest checking the code on the case of the ECUs as in like for like
Good luck with the fault finding

As Brian says first step should be checking for error codes. ECU's are interchangeable if they have the same part number
