and as i backed up the gate blew open, and i was lookin in the passenger mirror (cos the wall was on that side) and the drivers door caught the gate and bent forwards , lookin at it the damage is - bent door brackets, easy to getreplaced i take it? the front wing is bent in where it meets the door, but its a smooth bent, so could be pushed out, the worst bit is thedoor is creased at the front, so i think i will need to get a second hand door, can get a bare one for £50 i found out, then if i get it resprayed in its bare shell, then get the body shop to transfer the leather,electrics,glass etc (which i undamaged) from my door and then bolt it on, does that sound like a good plan? dont care hiow much it costs, just wana get it lookin perfect cos the car is mint.so has anyone else had similar body repairs? how does it look after? and does my plan sound ok?
