[Mk2] [Turbo] Electronic Speed Sensor - compatibility between NA and Turbo?
One of the pins is broken on my turbo gearbox speed sensor. As I'm converting an NA car, can I use the NA's speed sensor? The PN's are different but that doesn't always mean they aren't compatible.

Another part for the ever growing parts list then!

yeah just went though this, they are hard to find sensors. new ones are available but costly, used ones seem light on the ground in the UK, had to get one from the US. cost about £95 with delivery.

Will see what's out there. Looking the the parts catalogue the same part is used on some RAV4's, Celica's, Corolla's, and Camry's which widens the search pool a bit.
Found what looks to be a compatible 3rd party part for ~£40 which I may try while searching for a good used OEM one.

The connector looks the same between the NA and Turbo versions, it's held on with 3 screws so you may be able to disassemble them both and make a working Turbo one?

I was thinking that... Seeing as the one I have has a broken pin anyway I'll dismantle it and see what's inside I guess!
