Cheers buddy, nothing really big on aero this year tbh, just a change of some panels as I want to enjoy the car over the next 3/4months, I've got a couple of options which will be seen within a couple of weeks hopefully. The real aero side will probably be next year if I take things a bit more seriously with the car

Oil change and coolant done, this time drained the block as I learnt over winter if you don't drain the lock it doesn't fully drain the system, took me another 5litres from last year so done right this time
Amazing what a magnetic plug finds

Are you not concerned about the swarf? Thats if it was found within the engine and not just a sweep of the garage floor
Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times
Not really, It was in the radiator but I know why it has happened and was expecting it hence doing another coolant change less than 1000miles later

Fair dos, explains all as I've never thought about a metallic plug in the cooling system

Nice.... I do like black lips rather than polished
Did you take them to the wheel specialist?

No it was The Wheel Station, use them all the time.
I had considered black lips but really want polished tbh, lips should be here before the weekend

Oh I thought they were the lips. As much as I like black lips I think polished will suit red better
Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times
They would be some epic lips if they were the lips

I loved my old one.
Visibility is horrible, they like to blow over if you don't have them flat, marking the paint and they leaves marks on your rear surround. Other than that though they're brilliant

Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times
Not too bothered about that, got a spare surround so I'll just paint that up
Just got to fit a few bits then decide whether to paint it black or red

Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times
Depends on your aesthetic goals for the car. Might look mean with the red nicely polished and then a few black accent bits. Means you can add carbon bits without them standing out too
Re: FULLY FORGED - New pics of the car (page36) + 1/4 mile times
Just red in my opinion, black is going against the colour of the car and giving that boy racer modified non standrd look, if you know what i mean.
p.s. this lid does wonders for helping with cooling, imagine trying to cook a chicken with the oven door open
