Clever sods - help me build a horn kit

Post by androo007 »

Hiya guys,

For years I've wanted one of the train blasters kit.... and the mr2 with the funk is the PERFECT vehicle to have one!

However... I don't want to pay the rediculous price for a kit.

I'd be happy with a 2 gallon kit but surely it must be easy to put together a kit for far less? Fancy helping a guy out?

Good shout!

Few worries though....

a) quality - how long would it last?
b) Tank size... that looks tiny! Must only give a second or 2's blast.
c) PSI cutoff is 110.... pretty low
d) compressor details - not sure on refill times etc.

In essence, you may end up with a quiet horn, that only blows for 2 seconds then takes 10 minutes to reload.

Isn't the aim making the car lighter not heavier :D

I can imagine that would give a few unsuspecting pedestrians a few surprises lthough ol

 Reverse the numbers are you're near

The amount of idiotic, dumb women in fake 4x4's that have had too many close calls for my liking has driven me to give them fairer warning - something they can hear over their Michael Buble album....

Anyway, we all know the MR2 is weighted heavier in the rear, let's make it 50/50.

On a serious note, I think they are awesome. Just not the £700 price tag with it.
