Photoshop request! Wheel colour

Post by androo007 »

Hi Guys,

Thinking about getting my wheels changed over the winter. Love the style and size and they're in perfect condition but I'm not sure on the black on red.

Long term plan is to get the car resprayed in super red 2 but can't make up my mind what to do with the alloys.

I'd like to keep it OEM+ so thought a nice silver..... but then again white may look awesome too - reminds me of rally days in the 90's.

Would someone be kind enough to colour up the wheels for me?

Thanks a lot!!

Yeah mate. I think it looks great. I get the whole OEM+ thing, but I reckon silver wheels will look too standard.

The black (to me) is a great contrast to the red. :thumleft:

You could always go for a red lip. I know where you're coming from I do think black wheels end up looking lost in the arches, too dark to see them really.

Depends how much you like your wheels. With black you can't see the design of the wheels. If you want to show them but silver is too bland go for anthracite

I would keep just black... Saying that i don't like how black wheels fade into looking like basic wheels, nothing else take your fancy ?

What about white, i sprayed my wheels white in an mr2 i had 10 years ago, i liked it.

Genuine Regamasters (what the rota slipstream is a copy of) come in a gorgeous pearl white

which you can't really make out in that pic, but it looks like this

that would 100% be my choice, pearl white everything!

the soft silver is nice too

Have to agree Anthracite would be my choice, black looses the design of the wheels.
