I currently have a set of Goodridge fitted and the same thing has happened again, this time on a different caliper.

I think the lack of the dowel that fits into the caliper, as is standard on the Toyota hoses, is the cause of this issue.

I am a careful mechanic and all the bolts were done to spec when the hoses were replaced.

Has anyone else had this problem and have they overcome it? I must admit I'm very tempted to fit new Toyota hoses even though they are not braided
