Windscreen cowl replacement

Hi peeps

I remember ages ago someone saying they bought a new windscreen cowl from Toyota. Just wondering what the part number they used was.

I found 55708-17010 for the uk spec car, but imports have a different one? Are the import ones different or are they all the same?

Depends it you imported from europe or usa, they are different due to LHD.

I mean is there any difference between the JDM and the uk spec cowls. Looking at the parts numbers for the JDM version gives two different part numbers, but the uk spec car has one.

55708-17010 is the normal cowl used in UK and Japan.
55708-17040 is for cold climates, it has an extra mesh on the underside.

I recently bought one of these and got the cold weather one with the extra mesh. About £130 before our work discount.

Looking at toyodiy again, its shows both of those cowls for the jdm cars but only the normal one for the uk.

Might have to go for the fancy mesh one! Ta very much
