Hello,
Currently changing my windscreen due to one big ass crack in it.
Going through insurance company (Ageas Glassline or something like that). The fitter was telling me the glass on a UK rev 5 is blue and conveniently he had one from an order that didn't need it (it was an import - so he knew his MR2 screens).
However, I've had a look at mine and unless I'm colour blind I could swear my glass has a hint of green rather than blue.
Am I colour blind?!

Is there a definitive list of glass colours relative to the Rev version?
I have a UK spec Rev 55 (1999 plate/year).
Can you guys help before I get mismatched glass!
Glass colour - any UK differences?

It will definitely be green, don't get blue, may not look too bad when dry but when wet will look very blue compared to the rest of the windows.
Contry to the above post my Rev3 UK car is most certainly green tint and not blue, and all glass original Toyota except screen.

Glad you're still around on these forums! Too much knowledge to lose.

Can't speak for previous revisions but mine definitely was green in the end.
They originally fitted a St. Gobain screen which I have read provide OEM screens for Porsche. So I was originally happy with that. However the glass didn't sit right. So they ordered another and layed it on the fitted screen. Same problem but on the other site.
In the end they ordered a Pilkington screen. I was a little dissapointed as I have read that they're not as good, but the proof is in the pudding and the screen fitted much better and allowed them to put a decent looking trim on it.
So just some experience for you all. Something to watch out for basically.
