This was on my car when I bought it, as I have now have my ARC box on the car this is for sale. Roughly 9 month old from new. Fitted by rogue motorsport. Full carbon fibre canister with cold air feed pipe direct to the box. 3" version. It did make some delightful noises I must admit. Not as throaty as something like an apexi but certainly more functional with it being sealed from heat in the engine bay.
£90 delivered.

Whats this like by comparison to the stock air box?
I take it, really I'll just be getting the aural pleasure of more turbo spool noise? Also is it much louder when cruising on the motorway?

It's probably less restrictive although I don't really believe the stock box is as restrictive as people say. It just doesn't have baffles, pretty much straight through.
As you'd expect turbo spool is noticeably louder but it's not shouty and obnoxious on the cruise that's for sure. It's civilised until you plant the loud pedal.

Thanks for the very honest and frank response. Sounds quite nice and refined while maintaining the cold air feed and a bit more sporty when you put your foot down.
Last question is what filter does it have in it? and are they replaceable?

Got one of these myself and have been looking at cleaning the filter so figured I'd pass this on.
You wouldn't really need to replace the filter.

It's a universal kit. You could probably adapt it to a rev 2 with a bit of fiddling.

No, just the canister and the cold air feed. I've been meaning to get some more pictures of it but just haven't had time yet.
