Hi folks
Looking it get coilovers for my mk2. Looking to lower it as far as I can but it won't see any tracks, just for road use. Heard good reviews on dualtech for the price of them
Not looking to break the bank but also want something that will be ok with being extra low. It's not my daily driver just a weekend car that will hopefully see shows regularly. Comfort is important but not the be all and end all
The more expensive monopros seen to be well regarded as do meister r's
What would you guys recommend? Also not looking for lectures on what the mr2 should be used for lol all my project cars are for show not for speed
Also any advice on further requirements for stance would be appreciated. As far as I know it's just rear adjustable camber arms I need?
Thanks

I'm running BC's on mine and bought them through SSAutowerks for a good price. They do exactly what I want, go low and ride lovely, plus they have the adjustable front top mounts

Any pics and how much were they?
Are adjustable mounts needed for extra lows?

I paid ~ £680 for my BC's, been on for over a year / 30k miles now, overall I'm happy with them.
Check the traders section on MiesterR's, they have a discount code for IMOC I think!

Yea meister r's were top of the list before I saw the price of the HSDs. A hundred quid saved is a hundred quid worth of mods lol
680 is pretty good I thought the BCs were pricey

4/6KG - https://balancemotorsport.co.uk/bc-raci ... 12-br.html
5/8KG - https://balancemotorsport.co.uk/bc-raci ... 25-br.html
Only thing that puts me off on the HSD's is the high spring rates.

I had the BC coilovers at first and they failed quickly and were quite harsh.
I'm now running the Meister R and find them ever so slightly better on the dampening. The car is firm but not too harsh and I get no crashes or bangs that ive experienced in the past.
Also (although all can nowadays) you can adjust the ride height without losing any of the travel of the spring & damper.

Did you set them up properly? Complete opposite experience to mine - I've done around 30k in them so far.
