Looking like a good run, though I am still without fourth, but now my clutch master cylinder doesn't leak, so getting there...

Quick question to the organisers, would it be alright if my neighbour tagged along in his GTR assuming the weathers good? :)

I have no problem, provided he doesn't drive like a ****.

I have in the past stuck to just MR2s because of the actions of people in other cars on meets, but I am happy if he wants to bring the GTR.

Thank you for being so considerate :D he's a very sensible driver. I go out with him now and again and have never had any concerns (if the weathers bad he won't risk it anyway).

Completely understand your concerns and agree with them, he may not necessarily do the whole route, but doesn't have that many people to go out with usually so jumps at the opportunity.

Hopefully see you all in a week 8)

Woody928, wasn't being rude, I just know from some early runs from the Guildford meet we had a few guys with things like Evos etc and it ended up with people trying to prove themselves. Which is why as a general rul eI run this as being MR2 only.

But its been so long since we did one its worth opening it up so he is more than welcome.

Yes - I'm not going make this I'm afraid - having to do an airport run at the same time.
Have fun - hopefully you will do a similar run later in the year ??

Didn’t think you were being rude at all, you rightly don’t want irresponsible people turning up trying to make everyone believe they’re Lewis Hamilton (Should really sake Nico Rosberg these days. Lol) with crazy driving.

Completely agree with you, and respect that you’ve been gracious enough to allow a non MR2 owner along. Really looking forward to it

My first mr2 meet so I'm looking forward to this (if the weather holds out).
I will be coming from Maidstone and looking to join a convoy from that way so let me know if anyone else wants to meet up, cheers.
Fingers crossed the car stays unbroken untuil Friday....

It was more overtaking to prove it was fast then cutting in and braking hard. Its the usual problem, its not how good your brakes are, its how good the brakes are of the car behind you.

If you want to see the route on google maps put in these way points:

GU5 0HG - RH13 8LP - GU28 0ET (Rest stop) - GU32 2AT - GU5 0HG

That's without the run past Goodwood. 80 miles all in.

Unfortunately I only have 3 functioning brake calipers and an expired MOT...

Won't be able to fix it and MOT it in time so will have to bail out.

Hope you have a good run

I'm in the same boat.

All 4 calipers work but one is grabbing like George Osborne on Budget day!
Insufficient time to get the parts and do a refurb, so in best Dragons' Den fashion "I'm oot".

Was looking forward to the rebirth of this run. Gutted.
