i bought a rev2 turbo earlier this year spent 8 months replacing front end with fiberglass wings built my own rear diffuser had a full respray really happy with the outcome ive had it on the road for about 5 weeks but the quick shift it was already fitted with just seems pants i dont like it ive got pretty used to it now but i like how normal gear boxes drop back to the center and i can be a bit more care free but with the quick shift i spend to much time concentrating on gear change
basically how do i go about swapping it out and what shift is the best to stick in ive heard a rev 3 + is better
ive found a 1997 shifter on ebay not sure if its anygood if anyone could check it out please

so any help would be great and if anyone has one for sale great thanks in advance

Re: quick shift is Rubbish
I'm going to stock rev3 soon enough, and will be using the bits from twosrus
http://twosrus.com/catalog/product_info ... cts_id=117
Can be had with the rev3 lever, but I had to get the whole assembly as I have an eBay trd style shifter on mine.
Bearings for the shifter assembly, probably make Sid all difference but in for a penny...

I'd prefer to use the bearings here, so will ask about it, as if everything is solid, some flexibility at the cable end would be useful.

And will be getting the updated clutch clevis as well

If you want to combine orders for shipping happy to do that.

yeh its very easy to just replace the whole unit without getting fiddly over little bits and pieces i did the swap myself as a total novice and it slotted in nice
Re: quick shift is Rubbish
If you're just changing the assembly it's easy, just four bolts and a couple of clips you can remove with pliers which hold the linkages iirc.
But yes the item you've linked looks correct
