Hit a creator now got a knocking noise

Basically last night was going about 30mph when suddenly bam massive bang and then realised I had gone through a creator covered by a puddle!


Car seems to drive straight etc but there is a tremendous knocking noise occasionally from the front drivers wheel area.

Just a quick look and the drop link appears to be fine / attached, couldn't feel any physical movement in any of the arms.

Any suggestions?

When does the knocking occur? Only over bumps? Only when turning?

Just randomly when going over small bumps, it's not constant but fairly frequent, thanks!

Jack it up and take the weight of the wheel/suspension they try giving a wiggle etc

Turns out bent rim haha and a bit of clicking from steering rack however not sure if that was always there, the edge of the rim catches on the suspension

Anyone got a cheap set of wheels for sale / front 2 near Stoke / Birmingham area? Urgent

Hahaha Ffs yeah I meant crater - kind of in a rush when I posted this!


All sorted now, turned out I had a bent rim.

I now have a new rim

Reading that thread now realising what I wrote is amusing

Felt like I hit the xxxxxx creator.... Wow the impact was insane, no wonder my rim got caved in

Must say that I will not be going anywhere near big rims again.....

The smaller rim that I have now attached is giving me a much better experience on the tarmac. Does look a bit Sh!tty though but oh well.
