Right. Well then.. I have decided to sell my Veilside kitted MR2!I have owned the car since Nov 2007, it needed a lot of work and I have spent literally thousands on this machine, anything it needs it gets.
This will not change whilst it continues to be in my ownership. 1990 Revision 1 GT Turbo T - Bar with rev 3 conversion.It is booked in at Rogue for new rear bushes on the 28th of this month.
I have also made arrangement with Peter at SBits to carry out further work on the car including new drivers side switches and replacement passenger and driver windows (scratches on them). A slight vibration is felt through the steering at speed and this is also to be rectified before sale.A forged build is in the pipeline to be carried out.
. However once the niggles are ironed out, if the car sells as it stands the price on this advert is correct. Price will clearly rise if I go ahead with the build. Or if I fall in love with it again and decide to keep it so be quick before I change my mind! Alternatively the buyer can arrange with Peter after purchase of the car and go ahead with a forged engine build themselves.Modifications on this car alone total thousands, try sourcing it all! Even if you buy this car to break and use parts for your own, it would be worth it.
No parts in my ownership have gone over about 7000 miles yet either as the car only comes out at shows really and the odd weekend, it has spent more time in garages being worked on! Mainly JDModified, Sbits and the odd bits at Rogue.The car dynoed 283bhp

- All usual service items done, I changed the oil less than a month ago. Tyres are falkens and toyo combination at the moment but that may change if they turn out to be the cause of the slight vibration at speed. All pipes from hell etc done too in my ownership.I have a folder full of receipts from my ownership, not much prior but really does not matter as the car has basically been overhauled! On the V5 as 6 previous owners, again It means little as I have had it gutted over the last 8 years.
It was imported in 1999. Mileage is around 86 thousand, it has had everything converted from KM to Miles and clocks corrected so not a mixture, just miles.Basically this car has been treated rather well for 8 years!

Taking into account the work that has gone into the car and the parts which are on it this is a very fair price.
Break it down and selling individually there would easily be 7k there. The car will come with MOT but obviously I cannot leave tax on it anymore due to the stupid law changes. Oh also had new t bar seals.. Keep remembering more things! If I don`t have any interest at this price then I will keep it, forge it, enjoy it next year then have a think again.
