Perished Door window rubbers

Post by Tsporter »

Can you still buy new drivers door window rubber (Tintop model) or what have you guys done to seal up and stop leaks? Water is getting in there and down into the drivers footwell.

Have you tried Toyota for the parts?

If new parts aren't available then try applying a thin film of Vaseline. It makes the rubbers swell as they absorb it. I don't use my car over the winter and it is garaged so it was better for me to keep applying it during those months rather than keep getting on me when using it. :thumleft:

Discontinued in Toyota, might have to try a used one from eBay as it's pretty bad.
