I have been driving it for about 4 days now after initial clutch problems.
Bite point was very low after bleeding (not fun) but adjusted pushrod at pedal and now it's all good.
Can't take the smile off my face properly happy with the transformation, it pulls really well and runs spot on. Idles great, doesn't get too hot, no crunches on gearbox and has the odd pop from the exhausts.
Quite proud of how it's turned out. If anyone with an na is reading this go turbo before it's too late and they are like golddust!
Gave her detail yesterday and went out for drive and took some snaps.
Turned out ok for crappy iphone 4

Thanks Red

And thanks again as the vented inspection panels arrived.
I also purchased a small fan for the intercooler as I have read numerous times the standard fan is poo. So hopefully these two little mods combined will help with intercooler and engine bay temps.
I wanted to do this to help avoid pre detonation which I know can kill these engines quick. I am also only using tesco 99 fuel which is the best fuel right?

No problem buddy, vents look good!
Re: DB MR2 Rev2 n/a to Turbo complete
Wiped down underside of subframe and gave it a luck of some leftover paint I had. Much neater now I think.
Also put my Enkei's back on need a polish up though when I get another coule of hours.
Blown away how awesome the turbo motor is. Best decision I made to grab that donor vehicle especially as it only cost £400 and I got £150 back from my na mongoose. Turbo on a budget!?!
Next up more miles and smiles then braided brake lines and uprated pads.

Re: DB MR2 Rev2 n/a to Turbo complete
Had a 8 hour round trip to see family at weekend. Car was great but felt like it wasn't making full boost on way home.
Did some searching on here and thought it could be knock sensor or boost leak.
Checked error codes but none came up.
Noticed that when I installed the IC fan some of the clips were unable to go any tighter on the IC piping so I bought proper jubilee clips and installed. This seems to have sorted the problem after a quick test drive but will monitor further.
So a thanks to all those on imoc who post updates on their 'what's wrong' threads so we know what solved the issue.
Cheers for looking, Dan

I'm leaving it unpainted on mine. Nice pic. Gives me an idea how mine is going to look, unpainted against black bumper.
