[Mk2] [NA] Rev 2 to rev 3 inlet conversion N/A

Post by Mister2746 »

Hi Guys,

I am wondering if you lot can help me out. I have a rev 3 inlet and throttle body and acis spacer to put on my rev 2. I am looking for some help in making it fit.

It has been sitting in my garage for too long and I need to get it on and thought I would ask here before I butcher it up :)

How much modification is needed to the rev 3 inlet to make it fit properly??

Cheers

I was in a similar situation before and to my knowledge the Rev 3 inlet will not bolt onto the rev2 head so the only way to do it would be to change the whole head.

No, it is possible to achieve, ask Jeff Trump on the MR2OC facebook page. Involved a bit of fettling and die grinding but can be done and apparently provides a bit more go due the enlarged throttle body diameter and the better flow characteristics of the rev+ inlet.
