Hi all, not sure Im posting in the right area, but wondering if theres a way to find out the part code for a ball gear knob for rev4 tubby?
Its the original, but the plastic is damaged, but can only find aftermarket TRD ball knobs, not with 1-5 R on them,
or does anyone kno how I could replace the plastic thats cracked,
cheers

That's not a stock mr2 gear knob. That's a trd ball knob with a different shift pattern top piece.

That's no OEM gear knob in that picture.
Rev 3-4 had the same gear knob except the Rev 5 had red stitching

ahh, thats cool, cheers for your wisdom thought it was OEM,
if i cant find a plastic bit to replace top, will look for another TRD ball one, tho cant find any with shift pattern on the internet, only 'TRD'
but suppose I shouldnt be picky

All the trd ball knobs I've ever seen only have trd on the shift pattern, rather than an actual shift pattern.

thats all I can find atm.. if it was purchased in Japan during its history Ive probably got almost no chance of finding one haha

That's right. Fairly sure you get two or three stickers in the box with different shift patterns that you can stick on the gear shift surround. Doesn't look very good though imo.
