Unknown broken object found?

Hi all, wondered if anyone knows what this item might be?



I found it in bottom of drivers door, in front corner when I was swapping out the speaker, picked it out, but couldnt spot anything loose in there or anywhere it could have been attached. wasnt sure if it was from door hinge, but it opens fully an closes fine.

Could it just be a random bit that ended up in there when it was made?
any info would be good, ta

Looks like a door stay snapped in half. Check the metal bar between the door and a pillar is still secure at both ends

cheers, door did open fine tho earlier and stopped when it was fully open, but will check inside door when i next have time
