I had a rust-free beauty - Rev 2 NA - K809EYU, but once I sold her she was living outside and street parked as far as I know - no idea where she is now. I feel quite sad about saying goodbye to her still :(

The forums are an excellent place to start and you'll also find find some useful guidelines on what to look for when buying.

The communities are really helpful, if you see a car in a spicific area someone may offer to go and look at it for you and give you the low down on it.

Either way, I completely agree that £2K will get you a minter.

Not sure you can put a price on a rust free mr2 as a lot if down to luck of finding one...it could be £5k or £500! Look at as many as possible, but as said to know there's no rust inside the sills is gonna be near impossible.

I'm quite happy with a relatively rust minimal mr2 tbh!
