So i raised the boost and had just started to get a little missfire and I thought great a weak component.
The one thing i learnt with cars many years was how dirty the connectors get from coils, igniters, HT leads, so cleaned HT lead ends and got loads of grim off.
Pop off king lead....only 1 metal end on it! Couldnt find the other bit fallen off or anything (thinking Id broke it) so to prove I hadn't I stuck it back on the coil and sure enough it started.
The spark must of been jumping to the wire within the King lead, might explain what looks to be black soot out the rear from overfueling, I just think the spark was probably quiet weak!
Either way I'm impressed it even ran
I thought the MR2 Turbo electrical systems were weak?
