Looks weird seeing your car with different wheels. As you say, been on forever. Looks very JDM indeed now
Amazing how wheels make a car. Had a "cleaner" look before but now looks like a proper JDM drifter. Something abit different as well

......But.....can't say I can trust a man with pink wheels

Judging a man by his wheels, are we?

Completely agree with this!
Love the new wheels too

A great philosophy. If they make you happy then crack on. The corvette represents the majority of my entire savings and money earned and all, and it's covered in fake sponsor stickers just now! I'm all for having fun and not taking it too seriously.
It was just a role model mr2 for me when I got my first one!
Re: Shinny's Caribbean Blue Tubby - The End :(
Shinny love the wheels but the dangling toy I usually seen on corsa's, civics, over loud scooby's etc.. don't degrade your car like that lol!
I understand your mentality though - car ownership evolution - you can always change it

If it wasn't a monkey, it wouldn't be there... I have a PG Tips Chimp as a travelling mascot, hence a little monkey on the back. It's another not taking it too seriously thing

If you can't judge a man by his wheels what can you judge him by

His turbo, obviously!!
Re: Shinny's Caribbean Blue Tubby - The End :(
Yeah, not sure about the wheels, professors are awesome, and I'm not against pink either - I think they would be cool on a white or black car which is more of a 'blank canvas' colour but they kind of clash with the blue.. but then it's your car and as long as it makes you happy then who cares about what 'they' think!

TBH, if I had a gunmetal grey car, I'd have gone for a bonkers wheels a while ago, and was photoshopping ideas like these:
Once I'd fallen for those SSRs, I did a fair bit of photoshopping (using someone else's car wearing Rota D2s) to try out some ideas...
But was eventually sold when I saw these cars:

Haha fair point.....I don't even have a turbo
Glad your undeterred by the not so positive comments. I like to think our project cars are an extension of ourselves so if you like, that's all that matters
Was thinking, what about spraying the Toyota badges in the same fluorescent pink?
Re: Shinny's Caribbean Blue Tubby - The End :(
I look at modded cars as works of art ... and art is very subjective .. if it make you happy thats the main thing .. i was going to go purple for my split rim centers .. im sure i would have got grief but i would have loved it

Sad to see such a stunning car meet its demise.
Great vid though. Have you already bought another Caribbean blue MR2 judging by the end of the video??
