haha the stickers will have to go on as im going to clear cote over them but its not going on the road until the engine is done anyway :)

i removed all fixings ive had it off on my other mr2's so knew about locating them but it was full of a rock hard black glue that was like melted plastic ???

wasnt tigerseal but i have no idea what it was lol done now though it will be smashed off if any paint flakes off :)

paint looks really good mate, looks a nice finish off the gun - but then you'd expect that with it being your day job!

few last little bits ive done before i go on holiday :)

i painted my toblerone strips and rear strips so i could attach the cear lenses and decals

Image
Image

and my replacement rev5 clocks arrived today after i stupidly swapped the faces for white lockwood 1's lol
also has a 45mm prosport boost gauge

Image

decided to fit my dial rings to finish it off though :)

Image

and my little gems i managed to get a brand new set of genuine toyota door handle gaskets

Image
Image

should finish it off nicely

my door strikers were looking tired also so i decided i was gonna polish them up

so far have 180.600.1000.1200.2000 wet sanded them and will autosol them with a polishing whee on dremel when i get back

This should look on the awesome side of epic when your done :thumleft: 8)

Jealous of the Kei office front bumper, always liked them

Also like the touch with the rear fogs, interested to see what it looks like completed.

Carry on with the great work and look forward to more updates :D

Coming along well mate. Much prefer a build like this rather than a cheque book build. When you do it yourself not only do you get a better feel for your car I reckon you do a better job too. Go that little further for a better finish and its not about the profit.
