[Mk2] [NA] Rev 2 na - distributor compatibility

I want to change the distributor body on my rev 2 na, but can't seem to find a definitive answer as to whether a rev3+ distributor body is OK, or whether it has to specifically be a rev 2 unit.

From what I've read the distributor cap and rotor seem to be interchangeable with later models, but can't find anything about the compatibility of the body.
