It's gonna be a good few years until I even begin to get the hang of it I think

Agreed spent some good times with a S2K , lovely car to drive can be abit snappy too :thumleft:

Can't diss Honda, they may be underpowered but they make excellent drivers cars imo. It's not all about power to extract thrills. Me and the nephew do a spot of karting and best fun to be had and only 150cc :thumleft:

You gonna have to ask shahids.m at Banned trader he built it and tune it... I'm just a customer but was very specific in what I what I wanted.

Road car use for everyday
fast spoolup
450-500 bhp
Smooth idle
Wanted my boot (so no ic in the boot)

What I know is:
St215 3sgte
Hks 2.1 stroker kit very rare
cop
Hks gt3037rs
hks manifold
pwr barrel cc 630bhp rated fit perfectly in the engine
Custom hks cams and pUlley
Head ported, valves etc
Custom quiet exhaust 3"
C1 kit gearbox lsd 2 and final drive changed to 170mph
And lots more other stuff that will bore u to death.

All I can say it makes me happy as I'm scared shi@less everytime I full boost it in 1st and 2nd gear

HaHa, a Mr2 is a two trick poney, you can make them go fast in straight lines ( in the dry only ) and they look good.
An evo has four tricks, round corners it will destroy an mr2, good driver or not it is in a different league, it is easy to get defensive if you own a mr2 but as having been there in both low powered and high powered cars the mr2 is nothing short of a death trap compared to an evo, sorry if the truth hurts, just the way it is

saying that, a 400 bhp mr2 will destry a 400 bhp evo, only in a straight line. (which is all you need most times ;) )

I don't know anything because no one is allowed to talk about these big players in the 3sgte world on this site. I'm not having a go, really i am not. I'm on no one's side. :(

Yes true but from.my dealing with him he has been honest decent and always calls me back unlike luke at P.W. He still avoiding me locked in his garage. At least this forum is honest and true allowing a real feedback.

I don't know the garages on this forum but I will only use the garages from the evo forum and shahids m.

Tim s a nice guy too... but never used him just bought some parts from him. He was willing spend the time to talk to me explain things as I'm a person that doesn't know anything about engines and how to drive just i like fast cars

I've been on here 10 years and have no idea why Tim is banned. I hear so many conflicting things about Sh ahid that it's unfair to pass judgment on the quality of his builds without having seen them in person, I'd treat anything he sells with caution though! Having said that I bought my AbFlug kit from him and it arrived prompt and well packed. The bad stories definitely outweigh the good stories but let's face it, they always do!! I did see him try to pass off a rev1 as a rev5 now I think of it :-k
i'm sure most of us remember.

QUOC i'm not saying Xxxx hasn't fitted these parts to your car but I personally would be very keen to check out the HKS crank ( a part in excess of £2000 alone) and the Caldina block, these are extremely rare parts!! It's also parts that are easy to hide I would say. After the lengths he took to maintain that the rev1 was a rev5 I would see he's capable of all sorts.

Try not to be offended by that I mean it in the best possible way! You've had personal experience with him and I haven't so I could be totally wrong!!

Edit: do we REALLY have to censor his name?? What happens if another member with that name uses the forum?

Sheepy thanks ... Im very cautious since I had that bad experience with luke even shahids I always check and take pictures and ask the forum if it is what it is... SBITS has been very helpful and others on here thanks. I'm 100% the these parts are what they r. The hks stuff wasn't cheap hks stroker was £3700. Xxxx does try it with prices but thats business i guess haggling goes along way. But you guys tell me if I'm wrong...

Sorry for my bad picture still trying to upload more photobucket is a bit crash at the moment Image

As long as he's being fair with you, like I said, bad stories are shouted a lot louder than the good stories :thumleft:

very true a few bad stories stick with a person forever despite the good works and achievement he has done weather his 9.1sec 1/4 is true i dont know I wasn't there to see it but it doesnt matter to me as his work and service is good.

THANKs Sheepy I feel his service and after care is good... he even took me to his house with his wife and kids so i had no reason to doubt him.

on the other hand he took a very long time to get parts from japan... that caldina engine and hks stroker took 6 months and 3 months for the gearbox it was a year before i got the car back.

Was it worth it... hmm maybe im just trying to justify it but no I wish i just tune the evo x up but my evo x is so mint it has only 20k miles on it and is so clean im scared to even think about it.

I think my next car will be a porsche 997 turbo s... no joke! I would of got the gtr but after driving it I really dont like the gtr.
