Ah no sadly that's not it! I must get that video.

I think its a boost leak. It only happens on say 75% throttle - the turbo spools up.... Flutters then boost drops a little and settles all on the same foot position. It's the turbo spooling noise that flutters / neighs not the bov

Will try tomorrow - previous recordings came out terrible!

I have an answer to what this stems from. I've replaced the VTV attached to the by-pass valve (blow-off valve), and it now opens and shuts more strongly, so there's no flutter and no horse neighing sound. My wife was actually sad to not hear the sound anymore, she thought it was a fun sound.
