I gave up trying to buy from them, I just get them from the USA, so easy and quick too.

I had the R-4 on my road car for about 2.5 years, using it every day.
I now have the R-4 on my sprint can and my son has my other set R-4S on his sprint car

carbotech you can get them in the uk from ian at carbotech and I dont think there will be anything as good as carbotech as everyone with serious car mainly use carbotech... evo's, rx7, skylines, gtr, porsche, bmw etc research the other car forums I have never heard anyone say anything about porterfields being good or bad just never heard much about them. I have tried alot of pads and carbotech are the best i have tried by miles there are no comparison if you want the best carbotech is the best and is unrivaled.
Prices are simular to porterfields pads.
what ever you choose avoid ebc pads - death traps
