Flexi Pipe

Post by Mr Two »

Hi all
I have a 1998 Rev5 N/A. Looking to change the exhaust from standard to aftermarket. I have an exhaust in mind but it doesn't have a flexi pipe with it.
Will I need one to fit this new exhaust as I need the cat leaving on for MOTs

Cheers

IIRC, Rev5 N/A has a flexi built into the manifold-to-B pipe joint.

Thank you for your reply Peter...so does this mean the exhaust i have in mind will fit straight onto the flexi that is already there?

The joint between manifold and B pipe doesn't actually have a flexi built into it. It is a flexible joint, allowing the engine to rock without doing any damage.
