Looks good to me, I like all the interior detail - not sure whether it was initially a Spider though.. The structural reinforcement (or lack of) would worry me if it used to be a T-Top/Tin top
clearly had a lot of money/effort spent on building it, but really, other than kids, (some) women and the vision impaired I don't think it'd fool many people given anything more than a passing glance.

The wheelbase always looks wrong.....not to mention the dashboard.
Other than the physical constraints of the base car, lots of effort and high quality finishing.
ive got a Ferrari with a mr2 kit. that car should be crushed . if you want a Ferrari buy a Ferrari . I bet the owner has a rolex from the Tenerife lucky men and an iron on lacost badge on his t shirt. snide snide snide. my mr2 would smoke it.
some replica cars are good, but they're bordering on what I'd call recreations- i.e cobra reps with alloy bodies and ladder frame chassis, some of the better GT40's, coachbuilt 250gto copies built from real Ferrari parts.
a base car smothered in fibreglass, pumped full of expanding foam and weighed down with tubs and tubs of filler will never be cool in my eyes

this is correct.
the replica 355's are all wrong, too short, the front wheel is too far forward in relation to the A pillar, front overhang is too short, windscreen frame is at the wrong angle, rear wheel is too far forward etc etc.. that's before you get onto the interior.
I love real 355's, I will own one at some point in my life, ideally before i'm 40. it'll be a black GTS though.

Yeah it's well put-together but being so familiar with the proportions of W20s I tend to spot even well-built reps straight away :\
I really really don't get it. The only Ferrari rep which comes anywhere near to the mark in terms of proportions is the 360 rep based on the Peugeot 405 coupe (same wheelbase), but still, underneath it all, you will have a Peugeot 405, and not a very practical one at that
Never been a fan of cars pretending to be something they're not.
As I've said previously, and stand by it, "I'd rather drive a genuine MR2, than a fake ferrari"
Even more so, that a 2.0 litre, 4 pot turbo will never sound like a 3.5 litre V8......

I'd be embarrassed every time I had to admit it wasn't really a Ferrari.
