Mr2
Hi all
Been on here for a little while now but thought I would post a brief description and a few pics of my Mr2 and what she is like now.
Anyway it started with me having a rather unfreindly s14a 200sx that was too hard, to low, drift bodykit etc and it wasn't an enjoyabke venture to drive. So I opted to sell and get a daily driver honda CRV for abit of a work horse and then a 2 seater. I looked at many options, another 200sx, mx5, subaru etc then a nice Mr2 turbo popped up about 1 mile away from my house. So off I went to take a look.
Had a few niggles but it is one of the cleanest I have seen for a while and just had to have it.
that's where I start really. I have many more plans to do the next is to slightly raise the suspension, underseal properly and refurb the wheels.
First off was to get the car home
I noticed a few things, dash lights were poo, tyres were terrible and generally just needed a clean so off I set to get some modifications for her.
Apexi air filter
Recaros
Enkei RP02's
Fujitsubo RM01-A and a Berk Downpipe
HKS SSQV, Meister R Coilovers and a carbon Toms Scoop
Staggered AD08's
Broadway Mirror
Fluids I also did the cambelt and all the coolent including a new thermostat
Dash lights
Uprated disks and pads
Personal suede steeringwheel, Duracon Geer knob and recaros fitted
As she stands atm. I have since then fitted a stack boost gauge, moved the rear fog in to a reverse light and done the quad light mod
Hope you like
As soon as the wheels are refurbished I will get some more pictures.
Thanks

Haha thank you for the reply, I actually really like the foglights nice tone a little differnt however they will be going soon and replaced by customer brake cooking ducts like the integra version of the js racing.

That will improve the front end I agree.
Your white 2 reminds me of my old one

Looks smart! I too would do away with the fogs and scoop. I'd also wire that rear fog light into the clusters, but it's your car so who cares. Enjoy!
Re: My Mr2 Gts...... Sprint, track, weekend car.
Thanks for the reply mate. As stated the fogs are soon to be brake ducts the scoop is staying and the rear fog has already gone in to the reverse light
Excuse the dirt as a bunch of us got up at 6:30am to miss the traffic for an early morning blast. Rear fog has gone

Much tidier without the bolt on fog light!

The yellow fogs look pretty cool, i'd love a set of brake ducts like the ones on the integra though!
Re: My Mr2 Gts...... Sprint, track, weekend car.
Well I'm going to get designing and making a set, if they are any good and a decent mould is made I could offer them out

Really like this car.
ADO8 yokos are a great choice
Any idea on weight of the exhaust? Stainless or titanium as its a fujitsubo? ( Stainless by the look )

Thanks ADS. Yes AD08's are great rubber, most import thing in my eyes.
I really should have weighed the Fujitsubo but never did in the end however it is very light and such an epic sound.

i think the fogs would work if you ditched the orange tobs and sidelights (got clear ones).
that orange and yellow just dont go, in my opinion anyway.
scoop is only doing one thing, hurting, not aiding, performance. but if you like the looks, thats fine.
i wondered how your going about the brake ducts?
as you will need to cut into the arch.
there really isnt alot of room when the wheels are on lock to fit ducting?
it would certailny have to be very snake like ducting, and small to get to the discs.

Re: My Mr2 Gts...... Sprint, track, weekend car.
very snake like then.
i wonder whats needed to modify the oem trays and arch to snake this around.
as thats obviously a custom undertray and i cant be sure whats happening with the arch in those images.
seems like a nice little project though, i can imagine this would be ALOT easier to do/test with a lift like that guy though, ha.
good luck with it.

Those fogs look odd but I kind of like it...are they Glanza fogs?
Black 94' GT-S Turbo

Sweet looking car buddy .. as said, the fogs look like burger nipples and the scoops a no-no ..
Sorry about the critique because i really like the cars look
Brake cooling ducks like this would look bad ass
