[Mk2] [Turbo] Starter motor cabling query

Post by Legit »

Can anyone please give me some insight as to why I can't seem to plug the following into my new starter motor? It doesn't appear to be the correct cable or am I missing something here?

cut the plug off and replace with a normal sized spade connector and it'll fit. Or transfer over the assembly from the old motor.

It's supposed to be the right one though! Got it from this here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-CELICA ... 3f462ac6e0

I'm assuming this was a bit of a fail on my part then?

It' a fail on their part. The pic in the auction is not a SW20 starter motor.

MR2 Ben or GTS Chris. Both good used spares stockists.
