Brake bleed nipple size

Post by richstany »

Hi guys, I'm planning on refurbing my brake calipers next week and want to get all the bits together.
Does any one know the length/thread sizes for the bleed nipples? I've seen a listing on eBay for all 4 but they are in mild steel and I wouldn't mine stainless if I can. - mk2 rev5 btw

They are M7 x 1mm.

If you're replacing them and tend to bleed your brakes a lot then i'd recommend Speed Bleeders.

Thanks, do you know if they have to be a certain length?

Clever bit of kit those speed bleeders
