[Mk2] [Turbo] How have you fitted your after market dump valve

Post by philmr2 »

After having my hks bov sitting in my cupboard for the past 18 months I have decided to fit it to the car.
My issue is trying to locate the adaptor plate to mount it to the hot pipe, I'm thinking of buying a donor hot pipe and modify it to fit the universal adaptor the kit comes with.
Has any one else gone down this route or is their a more obvious answer.

You do know dump valves make rev 1 and 2 run badly?

Dumping metered air, so can cause poor running and stalling issues. Best to stick to recirc on rev1/2 turbos.

head conversion?

youll still be running an AFM unless you do the full rev3+ ecu conversion as well.

I assumed he wasn't just swapping the head, why would you just do that without the rest of the conversion inc AFM removal?
