Stoney Racing radiator

Post by CalMac »

Well rated? I've been offered the radiator and fans still in the box for £180. Don't particularly need a new rad but it's nice and shiny

Any problems with fitment etc. or other parts I'd need to fit it?

Hi bud,

Just so you know, I have a Stoney radiator fitted to mine...

You have seen the car and what it can do - no need to say any more.. :thumleft:

I bought one, fitted it and sold it recenetly.

Can't really argue with the price. The top bleed valve isn't in the best of places to be honest.

Would advise getting new hoses as well, but don't get the Stoney ones as they are utter crap. I bought genuine ones in the end!

Would you say it's worth buying at £180 then?

If it comes with the fan, then i'd say it's an alright price.

Is it the same dimensions as the std radiator?

Not that it matters I cant see it for sale anywhere on their website.

Are there any nice alu rads that are the same size as the std one? Ones that arent chineese made mishimotos either.

I know PWR do one but I wonder if its the same dimensions as stock, as I would like to keep my ac condensor and cc rad as is.

They are, but they get quite expensive once you factor in the fans also.
