Mine overheated a few years ago on a road trip. I wedged a coke bottle next the the bonnet latch so the bonnet was raised a few inches to try and help the situation whilst i got it home. It most likely did nothing for the engine bay temps but i did notice the valve train noise a lot more!

Iv driven mine around wen i was waiting on the glass back from the fabricators.

1. it definitely cools better!
2. You can hear the engine/turbo alot more
3. ipeope walking past look in and realise the engines exposed and are a bit baffld ha
