[Mk2] [Turbo] 16" Alloy Options

Post by SteveI42 »

I've got a Rev1 that has 15s on at the minute and I'm wanting to upgrade to 16s with 7" on the front and 8" on the rear. What options are there out there that will match the criteria? Would like to see any sort of style or colour as the car is getting a respray over the winter so I have no fixed idea in mind for the wheels.
Thanks

Team Dynamics do a light, staggered set of 16"s but the pics have been pulled.

Enkei RP01's suit the MR2 perfectly. In 16" they have a really good offset and come in 7" & 8" and sit in the arches nicely.

Here's another option. Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T (16x6.5 ET40) for the fronts and GTR (16x8 ET30) for the rears.

S14 silvia/200sx has very similar offsets so have a look out for staggered sets sold on relevant forums/clubs for them, too.

was just about to suggest these too, by far the nicest wheel for the Mr2. almost look like they were designed for the car :thumleft:

I've just bought a set of Nissan 300ZX wheels in 16" with all center caps. Cost me £100 including delivery for all four. Rubbed them all down and painted them gloss black:

Obviously you don't have to paint them, I just like black wheels.

Food for thought. Mine are off an import twin turbo and:
16x7.5 all round, ET45,

but the UK twin turbo has 16x8.5 rear instead with ET35. :thumleft:
