Newbie saying hello

Post by callywally18 »

Afternoon All,

A month into my first mr2 ownership and currently loving it!

Bought as a bit of a project for £700 with 150,000 miles on it (err), a red mk2 rev2 with a t bar rood and completely standard except a stainless steel exhaust which sounds pretty good!

Previous cars have been 2 alfa romeos (147 & spider) a mazda rx8 and a bmw 520 petrol! Slowly working through a fair few after only being driving for a year or so!

Plans for the mr2 are to give the paintwork a good tidy up (gone slightly pink), already debadged the front, some new wheels, maybe lower slightly and enjoy it for what it is :D

will uplaod some pics later today!

Hi and welcome to the party :thumleft:

A little bit of hardwork and a good cutting compound should see it turn from pink to red. There's plenty of advice of all sorts on here you just need to ask.
